This position is responsible for repairs to the trailer, including air, brake, electrical systems or other repairs. Trailers will be repaired in accordance with factory, dealerships and D.O.T. specifications by performing job tasks using hand and power tools and welders. This position will need to work effectively as an individual, work well within a team, and maintain regular attendance.
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of mechanical trade school preferred or a minimum of three years of mechanical experience. Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information and knowledge of truck trailer repair. Good judgment and the ability to use hand power tools to operate other machinery safely; ability to comprehend supervision on any specific job tasks; must maintain a neat personal appearance and stable work history; ability to pass a background check, drug screen and motor vehicle report required.
