Nurse Practitioner, Medical Oncology-Lenoir

Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift

Position Summary: Provide care to hematology-oncology patients in collaboration with and under the supervision of the physician preceptor, following established medical protocols. This person is responsible for seeing clinic patients as well as inpatient consults. Travel is required to help cover other locations as needed. 

Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.

Minimum Experience: One (1) year oncology experience.

Licensure Requirement: Must have and maintain certification by American Nurses Association or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as an Adult, Family or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Must meet State of Tennessee requirements as a Nurse Practitioner. Certification in Oncology by the Oncology Nurses Society preferred.
