Will collaborate with Oncology physicians and a multidisciplinary Oncology team to provide care for Oncology Patients at the Upstate Cancer Center. Working in collaboration with the attending physicians, the NP/PA will provide comprehensive health assessments and develop plans of care for Hematology/ Oncology patients to include medical health histories, physical examination, developing plans based on clinical diagnoses and problems, analyzing diagnostic testing and laboratory results, and ordering interventions based on clinical assessments. Incumbent will consult with physicians for abnormal findings as appropriate and assist in planning and ordering care and treatment for patient's requiring triage. Incumbent will actively participate in quality improvements working within teams and committees. NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required. Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or as a Physician Assistant and current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice also required. Current CPR Certification required at the time of appointment. Oncology experience preferred.
