About the Job
The Nursing Technician is a nursing student that has completed 1 year of clinical nursing curriculum in an RN program.
Graduate of a RN program (or equivalent of a Foreign Nurse graduate) awaiting authorization to test (ATT). Upon ATT, the Nurse Tech may transition into a Graduate Nurse requiring a new Job Description.
Qualifications:
- Graduated
or currently enrolled in last semester of an accredited nursing program
- Current
BLS for health care providers
- Must
be eligible for state Registered Nurse licensing exam (NCLEX) at completion of
last semester
- Basic proficiency in
acute care nursing, knowledge and skills.
Ability to use computer driven patient care equipment.
