Job Description Summary:
The Nursing Student Success Coordinator/Retention Specialist collaborates with the nursing faculty and staff to facilitate student success for all students enrolled in the nursing program by providing academic assistance. The Nursing Student Success Coordinator works with students who seek assistance and coordinates with nursing faculty that refer students for additional academic support. The individual must possess a commitment to student success, and strong interpersonal, advising, public speaking, and data management skills. The individual must also possess the ability to work as a member of a team and exercise exceptional organizational skills, independent judgement, initiative, and confidentiality. This position requires 40 hours per week.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Three (3) years experience in Nursing.
Master’s degree in Nursing.
Two (2) years teaching Nursing.
