Hours: 37.5 hours/week
10 month contract
Assist with various faculty workshops and events.
-Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Acrobat and Word).
-Looking for Blackboard experience.
Assists with general office duties (i.e. making photocopies of materials for class, ordering supplies, greeting visitors, and answering some phone calls)
Assist with coordinating events, such as ordering food, rentals, set-up, process invoices and faculty reimbursement, and other expenses.
Assists the office with making travel reservations, events, and parking reservations.
Good written and verbal communications skills.
Performs varied secretarial and administrative duties for an academic or administrative department. Composes and produces a variety of business correspondence, reports and related materials or guides the work of other staff who produce these materials. Edits documents produced by others. Ensures confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information such as faculty or staff personnel files. Responds to inquiries and requests for information requiring knowledge of departmental and University policies and procedures. Performs administrative duties associated with scheduling and coordinating meetings and planning events. Researches and gathers data for departmental reports. Assists in budget preparation.
Associate's degree Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.
Minimum Field of Expertise:
Secretarial or specialized clerical, including some administrative experience.
