Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of PositionThe Office Coordinator is responsible for providing quality services of provider notes as required to functionally support programs, providing practice level support on the tools and deadlines and being detail oriented in reporting and tracking activities. This position is responsible for accurate and complete documentation and reviewing opportunities for improvement on accuracy and efficiency for timely completion of chart visits.
Essential Job Functions
Completes accurate and thorough dictation in a timely manner for providers.In coordination with practice leadership, effectively educates on the elements, measures tasks and tools to be used to support various documentation potentials.Monitors and elevates any potential quality issues, challenges or barriers as well as sharing success stories with leadership.Functions as a scribe for various specialists.Assists various functions such as bill requisition processing, ordering, organizational planning of functions, or other supportive functions as required and neededAssists in design, development and implementation of reports and analysis of informationMay support improvement committees by assembling data and facilitating meeting preparation and display of informationMaintains technical skills and continues self-development as new technologies emergeIdentifies needs of end users to assist in supportive role for optimal efficiency in workflowThis document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age, specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in departmental policies and procedures.
Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
2 Year/ Associates Degree
Minimum Years and Type of Experience
2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
