Pre-Con Construction is a Boston based general contracting firm that is looking for a talented individual to join the team.
Pre-Con offers a competitive salary, open concept office environment, full benefits and 401k package. The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to handle accounts receivables, payables, employee benefits, payroll, general bookkeeping and contract administrative duties.
Responsibilities will include:
Review and process daily accounting records
Process vendor invoices / subcontractor billings
Communicate directly with Vendors & Subcontractors to reconcile accounts
Input and maintain certificates of insurance for all subcontractors
Processing and printing of checks as directed by President
Administer Payroll and 401k deductions on a bi-weekly basis
Monthly account reconciliation
Input and maintain the job cost system for all subcontract commitments
Prepare and distribute all AIA subcontracts and related documents
Manage inventory, ordering, and organization of all office supplies.
Process employee expense reports
Assist with phone coverage
Assist with office printer maintenance, toner supplies, and maintenance follow-up with Technology
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Accounting Programs, Quickbooks or Sage.
