Oil Change Technician at Jeffrey Automotive Group

Jeffrey Automotive is looking for qualified individuals to fill our Service Department as an Oil Change Technician. Ideal candidates will be punctual and reliable, possess basic computer skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.  Apply today!!  

Compensation/Pay: $12 - $13 per hour plus bonus based on experience, Medical, Dental, and Vision insurances, 401k option, Up to 3 weeks PTO

Responsibilities

• Drain and refill oil with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters.

• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary.

• Check tire pressure and add air if needed.

• Keep shop area neat and clean.

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.

• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts

Qualifications

• Work well in team settings

• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality

• Willingness to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
