HCA’s Transfer Center offers a variety of patient transport services and the onlytransport specialty teams with the ability to provide high risk obstetrical,neonatal and critical care pediatric patient transport into the HCATriStar Division Hospital system. HCA offers comprehensive healthsolutions—including advanced medical care, education, and community outreach—atits seventeen hospitals and other freestanding facilities. At the HCATransfer Center, we assist in transporting patients by ground, helicopterand fixed wing. We also provide daily, 24-hour access to the transport teamsfor Inner Facility Transfers, Physician Office Direct Admissions and EmergencyTransport for injured and critically ill patients. This unique servicesimplifies the process of getting a patient transferred to the right hospital,to the right specialists, at the right time by utilizing the latesttelecommunications technology. Registered nurses and EMT/paramedics, assist inarranging the transport logistics, staff the Transfer Center.
TheOperations Analyst is responsible for supporting the development andmaintenance of operational and strategic reporting and analyticalinfrastructure of the department and the division.
As amember of our team, you will:
Assist with the evaluation, analysis, and development ofreporting and analytical tools to analyze department and division performanceindicators
Support the development and maintenance of weekly, monthly, andquarterly reporting of both divisions and all hospitals simultaneously.
Collaborate with keydecision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and clarifymanagement objectives.
Break systems intotheir component parts, assign numerical values to each component, and examinethe mathematical relationships between them.
Collaborate with DSSand others in the organization to ensure successful implementation of chosenproblem solutions.
Work with the Directorto implement, maintain, and troubleshoot outside vendor software andtechnologies.
Development ofintra-departmental reporting tools and databases for use by department staff.
Provide guidance,training, and technical support to department staff on all department relatedsoftware.
Maintain and developmethods to stay abreast and make recommendation based trends that impact thedepartment and division.
Adhere to the policiesand procedures in regards to database infrastructure and data security withinthe department and those set forth by HCA.
Monitors and analyzestrends in Transfer Center processes
Interfacesconsistently with internal and external customers.
Assists with QA/QI ofdata, phone calls, and reports as requested by Transfer Center Director.
Coordinates and leadscompliance initiatives, as requested.
Exercises goodjudgment in the absence of detailed instructions
Sets a good examplefor staff by adhering to all office policies and maintains a positive attitude
Assists with staffcommunication, provides updates and maintains standards
