FULL-TIME – MONDAY – FRIDAY – DAYS – WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS: AS NEEDED
Performs ophthalmic imagining of various anatomic aspects with specialized imaging devices. These imaging modalities include slit lamp photography, fundus photography, autoflourescence, fluorescein angiography, OCT, OCTA, Visual Fields, Biometry, Ultrasonography (A-scan, B-scan and UBM) with basic interpretation skills. Performs independent injections of contrast medium into the patient’s arm in order to perform FA or ICG. Performs a variety of eye care duties to assist the physician in the examination and treatment of eye disorders as needed. Must also be proficient in assessing visual acuity, performing applanation tonometry, checking pupils for pathology, dilation, retinoscopy and refraction.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three years of related experience
- OCT-Certified (Optical Coherence Tomographer-Certified)
- CRA (Certified Retinal Angiographer)
- Heart Saver/BLS (AHA)
