Support strategies which ensure the integrity of decisions made concerning Oracle EBS applications. This includes working as part of a functional team to implement several domestic and international sites on Oracle EBS. Highly qualified candidates will have extensive experience in developing business processes using industry best practices in the functional area of Order Management
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with other implementation team members to develop best practice methods and configure the Oracle EBS system to support the client.
Ability to write functional specifications for data conversions such as Sales orders, price list, customers etc., from an existing system to Oracle EBS
Troubleshoot questions and problems from the user community with Oracle Application issues.
Assist with the installation of future revisions and enhancements to existing test and production systems following the Oracle setup documents.
Work with 3rd party consultants on assignments as necessary.
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, work instructions, functional specifications, and training plans.
Working with other IS and Corporate IT personnel to support associated applications as needed.
Communicate business needs relative to gaps in Oracle functionality to Oracle Technical Lead.
Train users on processes relevant to using Oracle applications.
Strong Leadership and Organizational skills
Strong knowledge of EBS applications with a concentration in R12 Order Management processes such as order taking, holds, scheduling, fulfillment, ATP, logistics.
Ability to setup and configure manufacturing modules such as Oracle Order management, Advance Pricing, Shipping management
Industry Experience as a manufacturing, planning, or warehouse manager, as well as consulting experience.
Experience working in a multi language, multi country, multi-org environment desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Project Management and/or Systems Delivery Methodologies highly desired
Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to train and provide support to Oracle application system users
Ability to learn to perform system troubleshooting of Oracle EBS applications
Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with business units and other associates
Strong Team Player a Must
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
10+ years using Oracle EBS applications at a master user level
Minimum 3 Full lifecycle implementation of Oracle ERP in Order management modules
5+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably engineered-to-order
B.S. degree in Business, Accounting, or Industrial Engineering
