Avera is the home to the regions first kidney transplant program and the only pancreas transplant and liver transplant programs in the Dakotas and the surrounding region. This challenging position is an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, providing oversight for abdominal organ transplant programming. You would be collaborating with program administration and physician leadership to coordinate, plan, organize, facilitate and evaluate organ transplant quality functions. Functions include QAPI development and implementation in accordance with the Quality Management Plan, assure program readiness for CMS and UNOS certifications, policy and procedure management and entering, manipulating and analyzing data and health statistics for data driven patient care.
Education and/or Experience:
·Proven track record of entering, manipulating and analyzing data and health statistics.
·Bachelor's or Master's from Nursing Program or other clinical degree preferred.
·Transplant or quality, or database management experience preferred.
Certification, Licensure, and/or Registrations:
·Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure preferred.
