PA/NP Orthopedics - Hand
The Department of Orthopedics is recruiting for an experienced PA/NP to join 14 Orthopedic Surgeons and 22 PA/NP's on staff. This person will work closely with one two orthopedic surgeons and collaboratively with two midlevel colleagues. Basic duties may include: OR equipment set-up, first assisting, rounding with in-patients, emergency evaluations, post-op checkups, outreach duties and general clinic practice. The PA/NP will support surgeons with histories, physicals, casting, splinting, evaluations, treatment planning and post-op care. This role will work cooperatively with athletic trainers, physical therapists, nurses and support staff and share call equally with 19 other associate staff. A Wisconsin license and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program is required.
