The position requires an applicant who hold a paralegal license. The position requires strong attention to detail. Applicant must be capable using Microsoft Word. Review and drafting of documents will be required.Provides a full range of legal advice and services. Responsibilities are within the Legal Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines. Position responsibilities: 1. Conducts and coordinates legal research. 2. Prepares correspondence and legal documents. 3. Acts as liaison among internal departments and with outside agencies. 4. Manages technical aspects of responses to document requests from local government and other regulators. Experience Required: 3 to 5 years Certifications: Familiarity with the financial services sector. Regulatory Affairs Compliance and Requirements: Assesses events and processes against laws, regulations or standards. Technical Communication/Presentation: Confirms comprehension and understanding of complex information (e.g., legal, operational risk, and regulatory data) by correctly and clearly answering routine questions. Assists team members in the creation of routine technical communication materials (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages). Develops an understanding of the different audience groups in the business unit/function that receive technical communications and how they differ from each other. Negotiation and Influence: With assistance from senior staff, works with appropriate parties to negotiate simple or short-term contracts.
