The County of Yolo is recruiting to establish an eligible list to fill current and/or future vacancies in the class of Paralegal at the District Attorney's Office. Positions may be available in a variety of units such as Criminal, Environmental Protection and Consumer Fraud, Neighborhood Court Division Program, and/or Victim Services. The following is a brief description of each unit:
Criminal: The Criminal Unit ensures offenders are held accountable for committing crimes in Yolo County.
Environmental Protection and Consumer Fraud (CFEP): The Environmental Protection and Consumer Fraud Unit ensures offenders are held accountable in both criminal and civil court for using unfair business practices to defraud consumers or for business practices that damage and endanger the natural resources in Yolo County.
Neighborhood Court (NHC): Neighborhood Court is an adult criminal diversion program that uses the principles of restorative justice to resolve offenses outside of the traditional court room.
Victim Services: The Victim Services Unit supports victims of crime by allowing their voices to be heard as well as leading them through the criminal justice process.
This recruitment is open continuously.
