As students are anticipated to return to campus this fall, Cornell Dining is looking for service oriented, positive, inspired, and ready-to-learn individuals – no experience necessary!
In this position you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and learn how to:
- Prepare and present food items for a diverse customer audience in a safe manner.
- Maintain food standards and health codes.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
- Operate point-of-sale retail systems.
- Wash, organize and stock all key items.
- Ensure unit cleanliness and standards are upheld.
All positions are currently anticipated as part-time casual, non-benefits eligible. Hours and schedules are flexible and can include nights and weekends.
Starting wage is $13.50 per hour.
Minimal Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills essential.
- Basic reading and English speaking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player, juggle multiple priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform various motor skills such as lifting (30+ lbs.), reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, squatting and grasping as needed.
