Georgia Military College- Valdosta Campus is seeking qualified candidates to act as part-time professional tutors in the following disciplines:Anatomy and Physiology, and Introductory Biology. Candidates must have demonstrated competency in subject area(s) in which they will tutor. Tutoring typically occurs in the evening hours (Monday – Thursday) with some occasional Saturday mornings (A&P). Tutors must commit to at least one quarter of tutoring, have good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to check e-mail account on a daily basis, be organized and punctual and capable of maintaining an electronic timesheet.
1. Have you completed sophomore-level college coursework in the area of Anatomy and Physiology and/or Biology?
2. Can you commit to at least one quarter of tutoring?
3. Do you documented experience that would indicate good interpersonal and communication skills?
1. Do you have experience tutoring college students or adult learners?
Applicants must provide an unofficial transcript from each college/university in which you are currently enrolled or have graduated.
Applicants must provide two letters of reference from faculty in the respective discipline related to tutor subject area.
