ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIPS AND LOYALTY TEAM
The Partnerships & Loyalty team is part of Varo’s Product organization and an important contributor to customer and revenue growth. The team is responsible for 3 areas. 1) Build a network of partners that offer products and services compelling to Varo’s existing customers, generating cross-sell revenue and increased customer engagement. 2) Drive customer growth by partnering with companies that can offer Varo to their customer base. 3) Design and manage loyalty initiatives & programs to drive customer engagement and share of wallet.
ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIPS AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE
As Partnerships & Business Development Manager, you will report to the GM of Partnerships & Loyalty and help drive revenue and customer growth for Varo.
You will be responsible for building and managing two different types of strategic partnerships. The first type will be with companies that can provide compelling products to Varo’s existing customers. The second type will be with companies that represent distribution opportunities to drive customer growth for Varo.
You will conduct strategic analysis of verticals and companies to develop a prioritized pipeline of partnership opportunities. Working alongside the team, you will build relationships with prioritized companies, structure and negotiate the partnership constructs and onboard partners working alongside our Legal and Risk Management teams.
In addition to growing the base of partners, you will be responsible for helping to manage and grow these relationships by continuously optimizing performance working alongside the product, design, analytics, marketing, growth teams. This will include revisiting incentives and commercial structures, as well as providing input into optimization activities such as new product features associated with partnerships, depth of integration with partners, alternative marketing channels and messaging.
