Our Payroll Professionals accurately maintain and prepare various payrolls on a weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly basis. Perform a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities, including computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions and processing terminations. Professional responsibilities include checking and auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standards as well as responsible for answering Client and employee questions and troubleshooting issues. Customer Service skills are absolutely necessary as well as attention to detail. Working atmosphere is strongly team based and our payroll professionals are autonomous in day-to-day activities. Company provides certification training for FCP and/or CPP within 12 months of hire. All of our payroll team members are nationally accredited by the American Payroll Association.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school graduate or equivalent, college coursework or degree helpful.
- Varied experience in payroll preferred.
- Knowledge of wage and hour laws.
- High degree of confidentiality.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Ability to listen communicate and follow-up effectively with staff, clients and employees.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service.
