The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at Childrens Mercy Kansas City is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible pediatric endocrinologist to join two pediatric endocrinologists at a pediatric endocrinology practice in Topeka, KS. The duties of the position are primarily clinical. The ideal candidate will have an interest in both endocrinology and diabetes.
The patient population is diverse in this busy practice, which draws from a large region in Kansas. Our physicians also participate in outreach clinics in two surrounding Kansas cities. Inpatient care at one hospital in Topeka is managed by hospitalists, with the endocrinologists serving as consultants.
Teleconferencing allows for participation in Childrens Mercy educational activities and conferences. Colleagues in Kansas City are accessible for professional discussions and consultation.
The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Childrens Mercy includes 25 pediatric endocrinologists, up to 7 fellows, nurse practitioners, social workers, staff nurses, certified diabetes educators, care assistants, clinical research coordinators and administrative assistants.
