POSITION TITLE: Faculty Pediatrician – Dignity Health Medical Group – AZ (DHMG-AZ)
REPORTS TO: Academic Chairman, Pediatrics - DHMG
ABOUT THE POSITION:
The division of General Pediatrics at Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) is comprised of a group of seven employed, board-certified pediatricians, currently practicing in an outpatient setting near St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. DHMG Pediatrics – St. Joseph’s as well as our sister primary care practices have been recognized by National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH).
Currently, we are looking for a dynamic physician—interested in primary and newborn care—to join our established team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional clinical care and an interest in medical education. Though the pursuit of providing innovative and high-quality clinical care remains the priority of our providers, faculty appointments, research opportunities, quality improvement, and patient advocacy involvement is encouraged of interested physicians.
Through the Creighton University School of Medicine (CUSOM), the DHMG Division of Pediatrics will continue to provide educational enhancement to medical students and residents who rotate through DHMG Pediatrics – St. Joseph’s in sunny, Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to our unique opportunity to partner with CUSOM in shaping the future of medicine, our department is honored to serve an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse patient population. - MD or DO Degree and Board Certification
- Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
- Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure prior to starting in the position
