Positions in this function assist in the care of the patient by following through on Provider orders for treatments. Individuals may be responsible for taking the patients vital signs, conducting blood draws or take x-rays as certified. Individuals in this function typically have certification or are working towards their certification as a Medical Assistant or.... ***Roles are 20 hours a week. 4 openings - 2 positions are 8:30AM - 12:30PM, 5 days as week and 2 positions are 1:30PM - 5:30PM 5 days a week. There is or may be some flexibility with the hours.***
- Respond to high call volumes, relay physician orders, schedule appointments and enter referrals.
- Perform vital signs, medication reviews, complete questionnaires, chart reviews, depression screenings, cognitive function exams, visual acuities, audiometry, ear lavages, EKGs, injections and assist physician as needed
