Perioperative Education Specialist in New Jersey

Just minutes from Manhattan, University Hospital seeks a skilled Perioperative Education Specialist to join its team in Newark, New Jersey

The Positon

• The Perioperative Education Specialist will work to set measureable objectives surrounding orientation and retention of new nursing staff, spearhead campaigns to improve the satisfaction of management in the OR and their customers, and establish goals for clinical outcomes
• The ideal leader will possess a background as both clinician and educator, will be able to create curriculum from the ground up, and be a visible presence within the department 
• Prior experience working in an academic medical center is preferred
• MSN required and CNOR certification strongly preferred
