Change Healthcare in the Augusta Maine office is looking for a dependable outgoing person. We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technican that is looking for a change from the retail experience.
What will I be responsible for in this job? (brief summary of the role)
- Provide pharmacy claims and prior authorization support for customer inquiries received via the telephone and/or Internet. Customers include physician's offices, pharmacies, and patients/caregivers.
- The technician must be able to assess the nature of the pharmacy claim issue or pharmacy related question and resolve basic to complex problems.
- The technician must work together with pharmacists and account management team to gain understanding of the State of Maine Preferred Drug List.
- Must be able to multi-task using multiple applications to provide accurate and responsive information to the provider inquiry.
- Knowledge of medications and pharmacy claims processing is preferred.
What are the requirements?
High School Diploma
Pharmacy Technician Experience (2 years) Required.
: Sitting at a desk and answering the phone for 8 hours a day

Hours: 8:30am-5pm (plus pager rotation)
