We are seeking a full-time or part-time Pharmacy Technician at Central Vermont Medical Center. Under general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and Operations Manager is responsible for the decisions and tasks associated with inventory management of products, repackaging, bar-coding and ensuring each dose delivered to patient care areas meets all policy and regulations in regards to medication safety. Provides support and guidance to Pharmacy Technician II and actively participates to the ongoing training and evaluation.
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree or equivalent in Pharmacy Technician experience with specialized related courses preferred. Active Pharmacy Technician license in the State of Vermont; PTCB or ExCPT certification required within 6 months of hire. Keyboard and computer literacy a must.
2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, hospital/institutional experience preferred. Proven experience as a lead and able to educate in a team setting.
This position is eligible for a $6,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year agreement (pro-rated), as well as up to $3,000 in eligible relocation expenses (pro-rated)!
