Title: Facilities Coordinator
Provide a job description that covers main duties and anything that may be helpful to find the right candidate!
Travel to various Early Head Start classrooms and perform maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and supervise outsourced contracting work.
Ability to perform general Maintenance and repairs and is handy with the ability to:
Hang bulletin boards, racks, shelving and various dispenser installations,
Build and Install knocked down furniture,
Securing shelving and furniture to walls,
fixing or replacing floor and ceiling tiles,
Basic Electrical work e.g. fixing or replacing light switches, fixtures, replacing Ballasts and run small wiring jobs,
trouble shoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other mechanical issues.
Light sheetrock work including sanding, patching and Paint and touch up walls and doors,
Light plumbing work e.g. Faucet, washer or Flushometer replacement,
Winterize doors and windows.
Need a basic working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, One Note, Outlook and use of Text and Smartphone.
Hold a valid driver’s license,
Ability to follow instructions, communicate well with others and with management,
Self-starter and ability to use initiative and work alone.
Commute by Bus or Train to sites unless the applicant has a car, in which case he will be reimbursed based on Miles travelled plus parking where necessary.

Monday through Thursday 10am - 3 pm and Friday 10am - 11am
