Job Summary The Topanga Table is looking for a passionate person, with a love of food, to work the line and help with prep. We are a 90 seat restaurant, serving breakfast and lunch. Open 7 days a week from 8am - 4pm. We make almost everything in house from baking our own bread + making jam to pickling veggies. We do about 300 covers on the weekend days, so the right applicant must be able to keep up with the pace and a good team player.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years culinary experience.
- NO baking experience required, just an open mind to learn :)
- Must have a good attitude,
- Be motivated
- Punctual and hard working.
- Must have contactable references
- Reliable transportation
- Food handlers permit.
Responsibilities and Duties
The daily duties include but are not limited to:
- Mixing dough
- Making soups
- Prepping the hot and cold line
- Working both hot and cold line
- Baking bread, muffins and brioche.
