Pricing Coordinators will generally be involved in the following activities.
Customer Maintenance – Creation and maintenance of customer records.
1) Profile Maintenance – Each customer is attached to a collection of “profiles” controlling things like pricing, delivery fees, etc. Profiles can be shared by more than one customer.
2) Tracking and Reporting – There are several mechanisms that Core-Mark uses to track customer activity. This data is then used for many purposes, including profitability analysis, rebate payments, and responding to ad-hoc requests from vendors and customers.
