Under the general direction of the Medical Director in cooperation with the Vice President of Mental Health Services, ...MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Post-graduate degree in Medicine, with Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, as required for licensure in the State of Missouri.

EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) years experience in direct service provision, experience in a community mental health setting preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Licensed as a Physician by the State of Missouri, Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.

The ability to work with all persons with multiple challenges (mental illness, substance use, physical challenges, intellectual disabilities, etc.).

Completion of MANDT Training within 60 days of hire.

Completion of BLS.

The ability to screen clients in crisis and ensure appropriateness in level of care.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Additional experience and course work in the mental health/substance abuse/criminal justice-related field is preferred.

Experience in a mental health or substance abuse setting and/or with clients who have co-occurring mental health disorders is preferred.
