We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to join our team.

About the role:
The mission of the Principal Consultant, Life Sciences is one like no other. This role requires both extensive industry knowledge and experience within Pharma, Biotech, and/or Vaccines R&D. The ideal candidate possesses deep and board understanding of the biometrics processes and technologies used across the clinical trial phases; as well as had experience deploying and/or managing solutions used to visualize, analyze, and report clinical trial results.
What you'll do:
* Lead multiple consulting engagements, delivering billable client work, in the capacity of an ‘engagement manager’ at our pharmaceutical clients
* Direct and steer multiple projects, manage priorities and guide multiple project teams
* Work with customers to successfully develop and implement technical solutions
* Create new offerings and develop reusable consulting methodologies and tools
* Provide thought leadership, white papers, and drive industry-wide changes
* Help build and continuously develop experienced consulting teams
* Mentor and develop junior and senior consultants to improve quality of engagements and strengthen the Life Sciences consulting practice
* Identify and drive business development activities for consulting engagements
* Support/instigate pre-sales activities such as proposals and scope of work writing, client presentations etc.
* Identify up-selling opportunities within current clients and continue to build relationships and drive value within existing accounts
* Contribute to the future direction and strategy of our Life Science Practice as a core member of its management team
* Travel to customer sites for meetings and/or project work as needed approximated at 25%. This may include international travel.
Our ideal candidate:
* Minimum Undergraduate Degree (preferably in computer science, mathematics, or life sciences)
* Must have the right to work in US/UK/EU
* Extensive knowledge, experience, and understanding, end-to-end, of the clinical trial process across R&D and clinical trial phases
* Extensive knowledge and experience in biometrics (e.g., data processing, analytics) processes and technologies
* Extensive knowledge and experience in deploying and/or managing biometrics technologies and solutions
* Extensive knowledge and experience in establishing, maintaining, and managing customers, clients or stakeholders
* Knowledge and/or experience in other R&D functions such data mgmt., safety, etc.
* Other knowledge and/or experience with process engineering; change initiatives / change mgmt. to develop (technology strategies and roadmaps - someone that understands a technology conceptually) and/or optimizing
* Ability to present to and manage customer mid to senior management and stakeholders
* Strong work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence
* Ability to perform in fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
