We are one of the leading reinsurance companies in the world. We are hiring a Product Manager for our new Data Science Center of Excellence team, that will drive our new products to completion.
What's The Job?
As a Product Manager, you have a strong understanding of how Machine Learning works from the start to the finish (feature engineering, model selection, etc) and you are also familiar with Data Engineering (what is Spark? what is a data lake?). In this role, you are not writing code but you understand business strategy, KPI's, developing data roadmaps, running agile sprints and running stand-ups.
The ideal candidate is an ex-coder transitioning into data product management, or someone who is a product manager who wants to go deeper into data. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset because we are essentially a startup in a larger organization. It would be great if you come from a consulting background, AdTech, or were part of a technology group that acted as internal consultants within internal organizations.

What Skills Do You Need?
• Excellent communication skills.
• It would be great if you had experience in product management
• A "plus" would be knowledge of data engineering (Python, Spark, AWS cloud).
• You ideally have internal or external consulting experience
• $130,000 - $180,000 Base Salary
• Bonus of 5-20%
