Product Manager: FinTech – Blockchain (Near Inc., San Francisco, CA): Research and develop a deep understanding of the fintech and blockchain landscape, by identifying opportunities, building business cases; Establish product positioning, and strategy through extensive competitive analysis, economic analysis, and customer research; Manage the strategic roadmap for building financial onramps and offramps for the NEAR ecosystem, including wallets, exchanges and distribution partnerships; Manage the development of the information technology products which make up these roadmaps, including digital wallets, blockchain exchanges and stable coins which must handle billions of dollars of throughput; Draft product requirements and define goals by managing User Experience/User Interface (“UX/UI”) designers and engineers to develop prototypes; Refine platform requirements and designs by soliciting feedback from stakeholders internally and externally; Interface with partners and potential partners in each of these sectors to support integration with NEAR's core technology; Model the economic effects of NEAR's pricing on each of the financial products that it supports; and Make decisions on product features and their prioritization by conducting both engineering and economic analysis. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience in blockchain technology including Ethereum and Smart Contracts, and programming languages including C, Python, HTML, CSS, and SQL; Knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchain, including Bitcoin and Hyperledger; Understanding of financial engineering and economics; Experience working with blockchain digital wallet functions from both a technical and financial perspective; Experience working with compliant fiat on ramping/off ramping providers; Experience performing high-level quantitative and qualitative customer research to strategize and implement product positioning; Experience preparing technical engineering documentation that satisfies information management and financial requirements; Knowledge of the engineering and information technology principles related to blockchain protocols; Understanding of the technical requirements and financial/economic consequences of highly scalable blockchain platform; Experience working with tier 1 blockchain companies in Asia; and Experience setting up product data analytics tool, such as Amplitude. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Financial Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field and four (4) years of experience as a Product Manager or related occupation.
