Responsibilities
- Learn and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Company's information technology environment and tax technology environment
- Administer, monitor and troubleshoot existing tax systems, such as OneSource Income Tax Compliance, SAP BFC, SharePoint and Workfront
- Maintain high levels of support by solving issues and responding to requests for data and reports
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify potential process improvements, recommend implementation strategies and encourage more effective utilization of all components of the technology platform
- SAP Exp a must
- 3-5- years of Financial Systems, Tax Systems, Income Tax Compliance or IT experience within a large public company or similar experience in a large accounting firm or management consulting firm
- Ability to implement, maintain and optimize technology solutions such as OneSource Income Tax, TaxDriver, Oneource International Tax Calculator, Onesource OSA, (SAP BFC), Business Intelligence Tools, and Workfront.
- Working knowledge of SAP, information system concepts and data management techniques, including experience with interfaces between source systems and application software
Knowledge of SAP, (FI/CO, HANA, BCS, BW, BFC, S4) along with the ability to query and manipulate large amounts of data - Federal and State E-File experience
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Excel, Access, SharePoint and Visio.
- Good understanding of international, federal and state income tax processes and an interest in learning more
- Strong organizational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail and quality
- Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with, advise and influence peers, tax department stakeholders and external parties
- Proven ability to apply technology to solve business problems
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team
- Entrepreneurial, positive and client-service focused approach to work
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of tax systems experience
- CPA Certification or equivalent
- PMP or other professional project management certification
- Experience with data analytics using Business Objects, Alteryx, Cognos or Tableau reporting tools
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation, (e.g., WorkFusion)
- Knowledge of SQL, database tools, reporting tools, and other application tools and languages (e.g. PHP, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, SQL, HTML/CSS).
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
