Dumping & spreading fresh/frozen product on to moving conveyor.
Ability to dump product weighing up to 40 pounds repetitively using two hands onto a continually moving conveyor. You must dump the product onto the line when you hear the buzzer. Depending on type of product the buzzer will sound anywhere from 6 to 39 seconds. Product will come in boxes or totes. Boxes will need to be opened and contents dumped onto conveyor. You will use the plastic bag surrounding the product to spread product evenly, do not let hands touch raw product at any time. Train backup personnel. You will move the product from by using a forklift/palletjack. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Temperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees. Required to wear hairnet, smock, boots, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company. Need to comply with Food Safety: GMP’s, SSOP, SOP, HACCP, SQF, and Quality requirements.
Required Education, Experience, Certification, License or Membership:
Prefer High School Diploma or GED
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
