We are seeking a Production Floor Supervisor to manage and coordinate Technicians and professionals performing preventive and corrective maintenance on missile launching and handling equipment at the Strategic Weapons Facility, Naval Submarine Base Kitsap Bangor, Silverdale, WA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Marine Systems group. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic, people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other developers.
Candidate will provide daily supervision to repair technicians and production controllers, including assignment of work, conduct of performance reviews, monitoring of qualification/certification training, ensuring production priorities are met, acting as the point of contact for resolution of personnel issues as well as reviewing and approving time and expense reports.
Candidate will work closely with the Production Supervisor, Production Support Engineers and US Navy and civilian customers, to ensure contract requirements and production obligations and schedules are met.
Preferred Candidate should have experience managing hourly and professional employees, working in a culture of strict procedural compliance, possess high ethical standards and integrity, with emphasis on impeccable quality. Must have demonstrated leadership abilities and proven team building skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
Duties include: direct supervision of Professional and Hourly Non-Exempt Personnel, ensure contractual requirements are met; implementation of customer-driven plans and schedules; maintaining status reports; equipment readiness to support mission requirements; provide technical and planning estimates for contract inputs; Ensure quality systems, logistics, government property and personnel safety programs are followed per higher order guidance/direction.

2+ years demonstrated leadership role
- BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Hard Science)
- Experience in operating in a government-owned facility.
- Experience with Strategic System Program (SSP) operations and the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program.
