The Public Health Informatics Project Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day management, operations, and enhancement of the health information systems used by public health jurisdictions for disease surveillance. We are looking for someone with:
1+ years of experience (including internships and fellowships) working at a public health agency (local, territorial, state, or federal) or an IT firm
Is comfortable with being uncomfortable and open to growing professionally and personally through coaching and feedback
A positive attitude in-person and virtual
Ability to think analytically
Ability to gather, interpret, and organize complex information
Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and priorities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to develop good working relationships with business sponsors, business partners and technical staff
While not required, hands on experience using public health information systems and / or Laboratory Information Management Systems is a plus
While not required, a Health Informatics degree is desired
