Permanent position: Project Engineers are needed for a leading manufacturing organization. The Project Engineers are responsible for leading large capital plant engineering projects. Qualified candidates must have a BS in Engineering, and 7+ years' of project engineering experience for a manufacturing organization or within a process facility. This position requires weekly travel to job sites, and will return home at the end of every week. Candidates can work remote, but must live within a commutable distance to a major airport.
Responsibilities for the Project Engineer
•Provide hands-on coordination, execution, and support associated with plant expansions, new equipment installations, and transitioning equipment installations
•Manage equipment selection, modification, and design; oversee installation and manage suppliers, vendors, and contractors
•Provide technical consultation to solve manufacturing issues that affect plants or customers
•Implement technology to improve process capability and labor efficiency
Requirements for the Project Engineer
•BS in Engineering
•7+ years' of project engineering experience for a manufacturing organization or within a process facility
•Prior experience conducting plant layouts; Proficiency with AutoCAD is required
•Must have experience working within a plant or manufacturing environment
•Ability to travel to project sites weekly
•Proficiency with SAP is preferred
