Project Manager, Productivity & Sustainability
Position Objective
Project Manage Productivity & Sustainability programs.
Essential Functions
Assists in the definition and scope of energy reduction related projects
Develops project plan and drives project milestones
Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation
Makes effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
Adjusts schedules and targets on the project as needed
Effectively communicates project status to stakeholders
Utilize Practical Process Improvement (PPI) internal company Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement methodology to execute on projects.
Work with EHS, Facilities, Manufacturing and global green committees to execute projects across multiple sites
May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned
Minimum Skills/Qualifications
Candidates with energy industry experience a plus
Knowledge of various project management tools (MS Project, MS Teams, Outlook, excel, word, PowerBI)
Displays time management skills
Strong project management skills and ability to influence, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams
Experience with project financing options and capital requests
Ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively
Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Proven ability to work across geographies and cultures
Education Requirements
B.S. in any technical discipline
Project management and Finance education or equivalent experience is preferred
Experience Requirements
5-6 years of project management experience
2-3 years experience executing energy related projects
Working Conditions
Many duties are performed while sitting at a desk or conference room, (e.g., operating a computer, using a telephone, or writing and analyzing data and/or reports, attending meetings). In addition, walking or standing within the office area is required for conducting site evaluations, equipment reviews, process observations etc.
