Project Manager – Truckee, California: Create, manage and update budgets and Schedule of Values. Negotiate with bidders and manage subcontractor risk matrices. Write contracts with scopes of work for subcontractors and vet subcontractors for insurance requirements. Create and manage contract summaries, scopes of work, change in scope documents,RFI logs, bidder insurance requirements, project schedule charts and decision matrices.Plan and attend meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors whiletaking comprehensive notes, publishing notes, and circulating with the team. Buildagendas for owner and architect meetings. Develop and distribute weekly updates forproject team. Build project binders.Perform material take-offs and create estimates for construction tasks. Identify lead timesfor procurement items to enable seamless construction schedule. Evaluate differenttechnical value engineering options available and make recommendations based on time,cost and functionality. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related degree and 5 years of progressively responsible experience within the construction industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree and 2 years of experience. The position also requires a minimum of 2 years of experience with: SAGE construction software, PlanSwift, Microsoft Office, Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, and Bluebeam Revu.
