Job Description:
Project Managers are responsible for seeing Omni Construction renovation projects from start to finish. The role requires working alongside contractors to develop accurate timelines and budgets, managing communication between team and clients, and problem-solving issues that could change project scope or create delays. Project Managers are expected to adapt to the needs of each project and ensure a quality product is delivered on time and under budget.
Responsibilities:
- Review project scope and request estimates from subcontractors
- Review, assemble, and award contractor bids
- Schedule, coordinate, and monitor crews on project site
- Ensuring all safety protocols are followed by all team members
- Collect, organize, and report project data to team and clients
- Assess and resolve issues not originally included in project scope
- Oversee project financials and report variances from original budget
- Provide clear expectations and feedback to subcontractors
- Ensure project is completed according to approved timeline
- Ensure end-product is as promised
Requirements:
- 1-3 years project management experience
- Adaptability to fast-paced, varied work environment and project scope
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to organize and manage detailed project spreadsheets
- Demonstrated competency coordinating teams
- Positive and upbeat attitude
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable walking and standing at job sites for extended periods (1-3 hours)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and mode of travel (vehicle)
Preferred:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- PMP certification or similar education
- Previous experience in managing commercial multifamily projects
- BS degree in Construction Management or engineering related field
