United States of America - Georgia, Atlanta **Job Summary** Project Manager – Fueling Job Description Manage projects that include an emphasis on receipt, storage, transfer, and issue of finished fuel products such as aviation jet fuel, diesel fuel, ethanol, and motor gasoline. Projects include tanker truck receipt, marine vessel receipt, transfer pipelines, horizontal and vertical storage tanks, and aircraft and tanker truck issue systems. Position will include responsibility for development of project execution plans, project schedules, and project budgets. Project manager will be responsible for completing projects on schedule and within the established budgets and for ensuring that all contract requirements have been met. Project manager will work with multidiscipline engineering teams including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers. Project manager will be responsible for relaying project and client requirements to the project team and for acquiring information needed from the client for the project team to complete their work. Project manager will ensure that the project team is following established project quality procedures and documenting quality control milestones. Project manager will schedule and facilitate design review meetings with multidiscipline engineering teams when required by the established quality control program. Project manager will facilitate project kickoff, progress, and closeout meetings. Periodic progress meetings will be used to track the progress of the design and facilitate coordination of the design between the multidiscipline engineering team. Project manager will periodically review work completed by the project team to ensure that the design is at the appropriate level based on the schedule and amount of budget consumed. Project manager will ensure designers are following the design plans and that the design work is coordinated with other disciplines. Project manager will promote a positive work environment. Project manager will be trustworthy and will build trusting relationships with design team members to facilitate high functioning and high performance teams. Project manager will be available to mentor and develop engineers and staff with less project knowledge and experience. Project manager will manage subcontractors such as topographical and geotechnical survey companies required to complete design work. Project manager will facilitate the development of subcontractor scopes of work and scheduling of field work. Project manager will provide input on client billing and will track financial status of projects including total amount invoiced, outstanding invoices, gross revenue, and net revenue. Project manager will periodically review project finical status with program manager. Project manager will interface with and manage project clients. Project manager will be responsible for understanding client requirements and client satisfaction. Project manager will work to develop trusting relationships with clients and will be responsive to client requests and needs. Project manager will pursue opportunities for new work and will assist in the development of fee proposals and marketing material required for the pursuit of new work. **Minimum Requirements** + 4-year degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. + Eight years of fueling design and project management experience. + Experience with commercial or Department of Defense fueling design projects. + Ability to travel one week per month inside the US and internationally. + Ability to pass background checks and gain access to military installations. **Preferred Qualifications** + Professional Engineering License. + Experience with design and management of commercial aviation fueling projects. + Experience with design and management of AFCEC fueling projects. + Experience with design and management of NAVFAC fueling projects. + Experience with design and management of USACE fueling projects. **What We Offer** When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future .
