Project Manager Shipping & Receiving
We are currently seeking a Project Manager I, that can supervise and coordinate all activities for the receipt and shipment of warehouse materials in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations and C&RS policies, practices and procedures. Supervise daily activities, performance and development, and employee training in accordance with Human Resources policies, practices and procedures. Directly contribute to the implementation of process improvements and special projects as assigned. Act as Subject Matter Expert for assigned projects, providing feedback on process flow and implementation assignments. Supports Organizational Goals by assisting in the optimum utilization of resources.Drives engagement and culture with assigned teams. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or science, or the equivalent in related work experience. PMP certification is a plus. Two or more years of experience in a business or project management based role, demonstrating knowledge of Microsoft Project or other project management timeline software programs as well as Microsoft Office products.:
Must be able to successfully supervise and motivate workers. Familiar with DOT shipping, packaging, and labeling requirements for materials.Good analytical and problem solving skills and communication skills.Ability to read and interpret signs, labels, waste documents, manifests, procedures, and regulations
