Licensed Psychologist I provides individual, collateral, group, case management, and mental health services to children, their parents and /or guardians as part of the Pediatric Psychology Program in Mental Health Services.The focus of this position is working with children, adolescents, and families referred by Cardiology. Provisions of individual and group supervision to pre- and post- doctoral psychologist and social workers providing services through the Mental Health Services.Didactic presentations; community presentations and lectures; and participation in faculty meetings at which teaching and turning programs are developed.
Qualifications: Requires Ph.D. or Psy.D in School, Developmental or Clinical Psychology from a APA accredited graduate school program; Licenses in discipline (Psychotherapist, Psychologist, or Marriage and Family Therapist), State of California in good standing. Must have two to three years of experience with children and families.Prefer familiarity with children and families coping with pediatric illnesses.
