It’s Work That Matters.
The Psychotherapist II serve as the primary mental health provider of outpatient mental health services for adolescents and young adults (16 to 25) identified as eligible for MHSA FSP program and eligible as severely emotionally disturbed. Psychotherapists are field based clinicians responsible for assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapy to a defined caseload of patients and their families.
Minimum Education/Training Required: MA or MS degree in Social Work, or Marriage and Family therapy. Psychotherapist II position requires licensure by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Minimum Experience Required: Candidates must have experience working with adolescents and young adults. Expertise in substance abuse, homelessness, LGBT youth, advocacy and knowledge of the jail system are highly desired.
Skills Required: Strong case management. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required.
