It’s Work That Matters.
The Psychotherapist II will serve as the primary-care provider of outpatient mental health services to children and adolescents, focusing on children who have feeding difficulties. This position is responsible for assessment, treatment planning and provision of psychotherapy to a defined caseload of patients and their families. The Psychotherapist II will handle duties relating to intake, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up services for the assigned clients as well as maintaining appropriate documentation for services provided. The Psychotherapist II will also be expected to attends meetings and conferences to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with appropriate service providers and other outside agencies, and participate in case conferences to identify areas of program needs and assess effectiveness of treatment plans.
Minimum Education: MA/MS Degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.
Minimum Experience: Two years of Post-Masters experience in a child, adolescent or family mental health setting.
Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Must have case management skills. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
