We are seeking a Pulmonary Function Technologist to:
- Assess and monitor cardiopulmonary function
- Perform routine testing, such as spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion, and ambulating oximetry
- Clinic coverage may include patient education, teaching, and equipment coordination
Minimum – Successful completion of a two-year COARC accredited School for Respiratory Care.
Preferred – Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
Minimum – Experience performing spirometry
Preferred – Experience performing pulmonary function testing beyond spirometry
License and Certifications:
Minimum— Wisconsin Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Must obtain NBRC RPFT credential within one year of hire date.
Preferred— Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) Credential.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of professionals.
Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
- 90% FTE, 36 hours per week
- Generally, Monday - Friday
- Between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, or 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- No weekends, no holidays
- Hours may vary based on operational need
