The QA Analyst will:

Be responsible for leading QA efforts related to customer implementations of software platforms.

Work closely with project managers, product managers, business analysts, application consultants, UX designers, and software developers within an agile software development framework to plan and execute integration testing and UAT.

Review product requirements, functional specs, and design specifications to create comprehensive test cases.

Provide accurate estimates and status updates on QA deliverables such as test plans and test execution.

Define exit/entry criteria for project testing gates (unit, integration, acceptance).

Participate in the creation and upkeep of automated tests.

Lead QA efforts related to new customer implementations and work closely with Project Managers to validate our hosted products.

Provide regular updates on the status of implementations, open issues and potential risks.

Submit bugs that are easy to reproduce and understand and verify fixes in a timely manner.

Perform functional, system, regression and performance tests as needed.

Effectively communicate with remote and local team members.

Communicate project risks as soon as possible and offer viable mitigation strategies.

Partner with project managers, developers, and analysts within the program team and across the Product Development team to manage and continually improve the test practice.

Work with the support organization to quickly resolve customer issues.

Define and govern test environment management.
Requirements:
-
5+ years’ experience in a similar QA role
-
5+ year’s prior experience in Quality Assurance working with web-based and enterprise application software
-
Experience with Agile methodology and working within Agile methodology and working within Agile development teams

Experience creating and maintaining functional, regression, integration and user acceptance test suites

Experience developing and maintaining automated and performance test scripts

Strong experience documenting, designing and developing test plans and test strategies

Previous experience working with automated testing tools

Experience implementing test documentation and issue tracking standards within IT organizations

Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Strong candidates will have experience in the Energy industry
