The Analyst will interact with cross\-functional teams to help define business needs and scope projects\. This position will be accountable for building metrics to develop insights to drive continuous process improvements using advanced data analytic methodologies\. The success of this position is dependent upon delivering actionable analytics for cross\-functional teams to deliver optimal customer solutions\.# Job Description**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**+ Create extracts from various sources and perform complex data analysis to support cross functional analytical needs as well as create new innovative approaches to using data driven approaches to manage product performance+ Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Sustaining Engineering, and Quality teams to understand existing information, datasets, tools and resources to improve on existing processes+ Exercise considerable latitude in determining and developing approach to solutions\.+ Interact with functional managers and business leaders to communicate regarding critical project risks, questions or challenges\.+ Translate business needs to functional documentation, process flows, assumptions and risks to assist business in developing appropriate solutions+ Research, evaluate and recommend solutions to managing complex data sets+ Succinctly communicate complex analytic findings to key stakeholders across all levels+ Other responsibilities or projects as assigned by reporting manager**MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:**+ Successful candidate will possess a Bachelor Degree in Biology, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data, Analytics or related discipline or a combination of equivalent education and experience\.+ 3\-5 years of relevant experience with supporting and mining large data sets**ASSETS:**+ Strong understand of data relations, standardization and experience using predictive analytics+ Experience in building and managing large databases/data sets+ Proven experience in implementing new processes/systems+ Experience with+ Databases such as SAP; Oracle; Filemaker+ Microsoft Suite including expertise in Excel; Access and PowerPoint+ Minitab or other statistical packages+ Experience with supporting a regulated industry+ Six Sigma Green belt certification preferred+ Demonstrated learning agility of new subject matter+ Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge\#LI\-OPSBecton, Dickinson and Company is an EqualOpportunity/AffirmativeAction Employer\.
