Key Areas of Responsibility * Quality Management and Standardized Work applications * Support on-site Quality visits or assessments to quantify data collection plans as deemed necessary and applicable * Implements a continuous improvement culture through the use of Six Sigma methodologies by applying the appropriate defect preventions tools to ensure quality improvements * Support quality relationships with all customers in relation to quality of products and services with alignment to the Commodity Directors * Support resolving Quality issues and ensure that Closed Loop Corrective Action is implemented * Leads projects related to Quality supported by cross functional teams * Provides analysis on data collected to support an analytical decision process * Technical assistance to Manufacturing/Engineering/QA on procured items and modules from supply line process perspective * Analysis of supplier performance evaluation data; Use of metrics to drive process improvements * Leads and provides independent assessment of process and product quality and escalate issues/concerns when needed to ensure the quality of the solution provided to the customer Qualifications Basic Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field * Minimum 2 years of relevant experience * Experience in Lean manufacture Preferred Requirements * ISO and Six Sigma certification * Knowledge of QMS (Quality Mgmt. system), TQM (Total Quality Mgmt.), ASQ (American Society of Quality) * Process Engineering and Program Management skills
Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science & 2+ years related quality assurance experience or 6+ years related business experience • Expert level knowledge of MS Office S/W suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) • Medium level networking setup/troubleshooting skills • Ability to work within a team • Written and verbal communication skills • Able to multi-task • Fast learner and innovative with the ability to work in fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications • Retail industry and/or Point-of-Sale product knowledge • Experience working in a SAFe environment • Experience with a commercially available test management tool (e.g. Microsoft Test Manager, Quality Center, Zephyr) • Experience with defect tracking tools including query/report creation • Automated test development experience a plus Any experience with Retail or payment systems is an advantage.
